Business Pulse is our advisory service. We plan the year with you, track the business against the plan, and meet every month or quarter to decide what happens next.
Bookkeeping brought up to date, the bank and control accounts reconciled, and the period closed.
Management accounts produced and set against the budget, line by line.
We find the variances that matter and what caused them, from occupancy to agency hours.
A meeting about what the figures mean for the decisions in front of you.
Priorities and actions agreed, each with an owner and a date, and checked at the next review.
Each level includes the one before it.

The year's budget is built from occupancy or hours delivered, the fee or funding rate for each resident, client or child, and the staff hours each service needs. For 2027/28 it carries the National Living Wage of £13.21 from 1 April 2027.
Each review then sets the actual figures against that plan, home by home or service by service, and ends with the decisions to make: a fee to renegotiate, a vacancy to fill, agency hours to bring down, or a new service to open.
CQC's registration regulations require a provider to take all reasonable steps to keep the regulated activity financially viable. A budget, a forecast and a regular review give the directors a record of the steps they took.
Your accounts and tax returns are charged at your usual accounts fee, and Business Pulse is added on top: £375 + VAT a month for quarterly support or £499 + VAT a month for monthly support. Payroll and pensions are priced separately.
